I have always had an interest in music - school choir, church choir, lurking near my mates drum kit at youth club, nose pressed against second-hand music shop window etc.
Was given a piano when about 9 years old - Got to the dizzy heights of "Chop Sticks", and did actually possess a guitar as an early teen, but never played either seriously or even with any degree of skill. Once I got to being a "serious teen" any further interest in making music ceased - although I did carry a guitar around at odd times.
I am a Worship Leader/Musician (vocals & guitar) in Lincoln UK for over 20 years.
I play my instruments as best I can but the joints aren't what they used to be so there are limitations (also comes from not learning he craft at an earlier age!) It also means that I have learnt a few 'cheats' when it comes to some guitar chords...
I also do the best I can with the recording and stuff - limited funds means that I record everything at home - seems to be working so far...
One day...

Many years later - like about 40 years!, God decided that I should learn to play drums and guitar at a age when most people would be packing up and selling their kit!
So.... Played drums in a covers band for over 7 years and also in a gospel band for about the same time
